MatchPoints 2022 - Our Fascinating Brain

We are excited to announce that Neurocampus Aarhus with Troels Stahelin in charge will be hosting the annual MatchPoints conference of 2022! The conference is organized in a collaboration between Aarhus University, Aarhus Municipality and Folkeuniversitet in Aarhus and with support from the Lundbeck Foundation and the Novo Nordisk Foundation.

What is MatchPoints?
Since 2007, MatchPoints has been the annual flagship conference of Aarhus University, bringing together researchers, journalists, politicians, business leaders and engaged citizens to discuss the most pressing issues of the day with the goal of creating an open dialogue between the university and the surrounding society.

MatchPoints 2022
Matchpoints 2022 will be a conference in name of neuroscience and the general theme, “Our fascinating brain” will be extended in four directions under the subthemes: “the molecular brain”, “the emotional brain”, “brain plasticity and behavior”, and “when the brain breaks down”. The conference will take place on the 5th - 7th of May and include state-of-the-art international keynote speakers, as well as inspiring workshops, debates and entertainment. MatchPoints 2022 will be rounded off on Saturday the 7th with a public event in the beautiful venue of Moesgaard Museum under the theme “The development of our brain through 10,000 years”  

Keynote speakers
MatchPoints 2022 will present five keynote speakers who all state-of-the-art neuroscientists within their respective fields. Look forward to experience:

OBS: MatchPoints serves as Neuroscience Day 2022

NeuroCampus Aarhus will not be hosting a Neuroscience Day conference in 2022. Instead we recommend that you register for MatchPoints 2022 for your yearly ground-breaking, interdisciplinary neuroscience-input

The organization of MP22:

Every year the five faculties at Aarhus University take turns hosting the MP-seminars. For MP22 NeuroCampus worked together with Troels Stahelin Jensen in creating a pitch for the conference and are now hosting the MathcPoints 2022 with Troels Stahelin Jensen as Head of the Organizing Commitee. Three of NCA Steering Committee members are also part of the MP22 Organizing Committee
