How does the developing brain organize its complex neural architecture? This question is explored in a new PhD dissertation by Ali H. Rafati, focusing on mathematical and computational approaches to understanding neural development and brain organization. The project combines mathematical modelling, geometry-based analysis, and computational neuroscience to investigate mechanisms underlying neural structure formation and developmental dynamics.
